When we start to observe our breath, our thoughts start reducing and we start connecting to the emotions lying underneath those thoughts. For men it is slightly difficult due to the nature of their upbringing. The suppressed emotions get stored in our sub-concious mind, and not in the conscious mind. Both are differently programmed, and our sub conscious governs our life. When we are connecting to our breath in Yog Nidra, our sub-conscious and conscious mind start getting aligned. Bit by bit, the alignment of the body, spirit and mind start getting aligned
What is the process of meditation and how do the emotions get grounded.
Duration: 3 mins 54 sec
We as human beings are meant to be in two states - that of pain or bliss. When we experience positive emotions, it is in pursuit of bliss. Then there are these negative emotions, with which we either create a belief or thought and we act upon it, in order to avoid the experience of pain. All we need to do when we become aware of our anger, is to turn inwards, connect with our breath and experience the emotions fully. As we OTB, there is this huge range of emotions that we have been suppressing, which will start to surface, leaving the space that they were occupying within us empty. That is when we will begin to experience the void within us
When I am feeling angry, should I control/ suppress it?
Duration: 02 mins 28 secs
During the day when you are busy, you are not able to pay attention to your emotions. So during the night when your thoughts are less, emotions start to surface in the body in the form of bodyaches/any other form of discomfort. With OTB, the emotions that are surfacing will get released and pain in the body will get better and eventually sleep will improve over time, with practice.
I have sleep disorder. Whenever I want to sleep or meditate I am unable to because of severe pain in my legs and hands. What should I do?

The high pulse rate and various other parameters will normalise through the practice of OTB. When you start to the attend to the emotions that are surfacing through observing the breath, the high pulse rate will automatically start to get normalised.
Recently I have noticed that my pulse rate is very high. What could be the reason for that?
Duration: 02 mins 51 secs
When the negative emotion gets grounded in the process of Yog nidra, you will experience bliss, which will expand as we stay connected with the breath. The reason we cannot sustain this state of bliss/emptiness for long is because layer after layer of emotions is getting cleared up as we OTB. Symptoms like diarrohea and vomitting are signs of the toxins being released and the body getting cleansed.
*Citing an example - A pot which is holding something for a long time, once it is emptied, it will experience void there.
After reaching YN was at peace and in bliss. However, post breakfast there was queasy feeling in my stomach. Why?

The occurence of random thoughts will get better with time, as we deepen the practice of the techniques taught to us. Writing down the thoughts, also helps in identifying the emotions behind those thoughts - as there are suppressed emotions underlying these random thoughts.

Every event is an experience, every experience creates an emotion and every emotion is either supressed or regulated by our thoughts (mind). These suppressed emotions get stuck into different parts of our body. With the progression of observation of the breath, the emotions that are stuck will get released and pain could be felt in that area. It signifies that the emotional body is opening up and those emotions will leave your body eventually.

During the transitional phase, various changes will come. Sometimes you will be very silent and sometimes very vocal about your emotions. Why have I become vocal about my emotions now? Is it supposed to happen?
Duration: 02 mins 09 secs
In NV Life, we do not suppress or control the emotions. We simply breathe them and the changes will follow in our body, spirit and mind gradually. While none of these techniques are allopathic in nature, you will be able to witness most of the symptoms which are disappearing from your body. However, some will just disappear with the help of Yog Nidra itself, without you really noticing that.

Breathing is inversely proportional to thoughts. While its an intuitive process, use cotton to OTB only when you are doing an activity that doesnot activate the mind, for example, cooking out of love, painting, working out of creativity. The purpose of using cotton is to deactivate the mind and turn inwards, hence, engaging in a mental activity while using cotton will defeat its purpose.

The purpose of using cotton is to balance our electromagnetic field. This facilitates the process of turning inward. As soon as you begin to start using cotton in the right nostril and observe breath, the distortion that had begun with the disease will start reversing within 72 hours. OTB starts to disempower the thoughts and that will release held up emotions, so it is ideal to not work while using cotton. Try to lie down or sit in relaxed position and stay with yourself while practising cotton technique. Usage of cotton during Yog Nidra is optional.

Observing the breath is challenging as our minds are wired up. When we lie down to sleep while using cotton in right nostril, we land up focusing on cotton rather than observing the breath and that causes resistance towards using cotton. This resistance manifests in different forms, for example, suffocation. If and when you experience such resistance, remove cotton from your nostril and insert it after few minutes for comfortable period of time. Slowly increase the time span of practising breathing with cotton at night. Eventually you will be able to keep it all night long or atleast sleep comfortably with it.
Using cotton at night bothers me more than using it during the day. Why is that?

As we observe the breath with cotton, the Life Force Energy which was blocked in the form of sexual desire, begins to open up. As it flows in the body, suppressed emotions related to previous experiences and the corresponding beliefs will surface. However, when we do not acknowledge this flow of LFE in the body, all of it goes into our mind, resulting in excessive thoughts. The body gets heated up when we donot acknowledge the anger that is surfacing with the flow of LFE. The key is to pay attention to the desire that is surfacing and to OTB that desire.
The use of cotton makes me uncomfortable. What should I do?

Practice the technique every time you are with yourself during the day. At night, insert cotton in your right nostril for as long as you can be with it, and slowly as thoughts begin to diminish, you would be able to keep it for a longer span.

We have been used to breathing mostly through the right nostril, as this is the nostril which is active when the mind is active. When we insert cotton in the right nostril, to balance the electromagnetic field of the body, the mind resists breathing through the left nostril. However, we eventually get comfortable with the usage of cotton, as we practise the process with sincerity and commitment. This eventually becomes the basis of Cure for all forms of 3D. Sleep, is one the first pillars of well being, which gets restored with the usage of cotton.

Yog Nidra is conscious sleep, when mind is at zero thought state. One remains conscious of the surroundings during that time. Staying with the emotion means to feel the emotion and observe the breath. As you experience the emotion and breathe on it,it will either leave you or its intensity will lessen. * If we take the example of anger, there are two ways in which we deal with anger. Either we indulge in it, in the form an outburst. The other way could be suppressing it and move to self pity. Staying with anger means not to give in to either of the two tendencies but to experience that emotion and observe the breath. By observing and breathing on the emotion, the intensity of that emotion reduces and eventually gets grounded.
