Duration: 03 mins 12 secs
Use energized cotton in your right nostril when you are not mentally engaged. You can use it in presence of your immediate family members, who reside with you in the same house. Recommended to use cotton in right nostril at night but can also be used during the day, if you can be in your own space i.e., while reading a book, watching NVlife seminars, when sitting with yourself or when you are engaged in cooking, artistry or creativity. Donot use cotton while on mobile phone or using any technical /electronic gadgets, driving or engaged with guests, when mind is involved in any activity. Donot use cotton when you use the washroom and use fresh energized cotton after every visit to the washroom.
Can you explain do's and don't while using cotton in right nostril?
Duration: 02 mins 01 secs
Breathing is inversely proportional to thoughts. While its an intuitive process, use cotton to OTB only when you are doing an activity that doesnot activate the mind, for example, cooking out of love, painting, working out of creativity. The purpose of using cotton is to deactivate the mind and turn inwards, hence, engaging in a mental activity while using cotton will defeat its purpose.
Why are we not supposed to use cotton when using our logical mind
Duration: 02 mins 14 secs
The purpose of using cotton is to balance our electromagnetic field. This facilitates the process of turning inward. As soon as you begin to start using cotton in the right nostril and observe breath, the distortion that had begun with the disease will start reversing within 72 hours. OTB starts to disempower the thoughts and that will release held up emotions, so it is ideal to not work while using cotton. Try to lie down or sit in relaxed position and stay with yourself while practising cotton technique. Usage of cotton during Yog Nidra is optional.

When I use cotton at night, why do negative emotions surface?
Duration: 01 mins 49 secs
While practising OTB with cotton, healing begins and Emotional, Mental and Physical body shows some signs/symptoms of healing. We experience various changes like - nausea, body pain, heat flashes, sensations in different body parts, mood swings , emotional breakdown etc. Be with your breath as you are now on the path of recovery. I am nauseous and drowsy and experiencing a change of taste due to cotton use. Is that okay?
Duration: 03 mins 13 secs
Observing the breath is challenging as our minds are wired up. When we lie down to sleep while using cotton in right nostril, we land up focusing on cotton rather than observing the breath and that causes resistance towards using cotton. This resistance manifests in different forms, for example, suffocation. If and when you experience such resistance, remove cotton from your nostril and insert it after few minutes for comfortable period of time. Slowly increase the time span of practising breathing with cotton at night. Eventually you will be able to keep it all night long or atleast sleep comfortably with it.
Using cotton at night bothers me more than using it during the day. Why is that?
Duration: 03 mins 22 secs
As we observe the breath with cotton, the Life Force Energy which was blocked in the form of sexual desire, begins to open up. As it flows in the body, suppressed emotions related to previous experiences and the corresponding beliefs will surface. However, when we do not acknowledge this flow of LFE in the body, all of it goes into our mind, resulting in excessive thoughts. The body gets heated up when we donot acknowledge the anger that is surfacing with the flow of LFE. The key is to pay attention to the desire that is surfacing and to OTB that desire.
The use of cotton makes me uncomfortable. What should I do?
Duration: 02 mins 02 secs
The process of observing breath could be uncomfortable at the initial stage. Be gentle with yourself and try cotton in the right nostril for short intervals, take it out when you feel uneasy and try again after 5-6 minutes. Practice the technique every time you are with yourself during the day. At night, insert cotton in your right nostril for as long as you can be with it, and slowly as thoughts begin to diminish, you would be able to keep it for a longer span.
I am facing discomfort while using cotton. Please guide.

We have been used to breathing mostly through the right nostril, as this is the nostril which is active when the mind is active. When we insert cotton in the right nostril, to balance the electromagnetic field of the body, the mind resists breathing through the left nostril. However, we eventually get comfortable with the usage of cotton, as we practise the process with sincerity and commitment. This eventually becomes the basis of Cure for all forms of 3D. Sleep, is one the first pillars of well being, which gets restored with the usage of cotton.

Chant it while breathing out, followed by inhaling and chanting the next line while exhaling. This energized cotton is ready to be used after about an hour. COTTON

When we start to observe our breath, our thoughts start reducing and we start connecting to the emotions lying underneath those thoughts. For men it is slightly difficult due to the nature of their upbringing. The suppressed emotions get stored in our sub-concious mind, and not in the conscious mind. Both are differently programmed, and our sub conscious governs our life. When we are connecting to our breath in Yog Nidra, our sub-conscious and conscious mind start getting aligned. Bit by bit, the alignment of the body, spirit and mind start getting aligned
What is the process of meditation and how do the emotions get grounded.
Duration: 3 mins 54 sec
We as human beings are meant to be in two states - that of pain or bliss. When we experience positive emotions, it is in pursuit of bliss. Then there are these negative emotions, with which we either create a belief or thought and we act upon it, in order to avoid the experience of pain. All we need to do when we become aware of our anger, is to turn inwards, connect with our breath and experience the emotions fully. As we OTB, there is this huge range of emotions that we have been suppressing, which will start to surface, leaving the space that they were occupying within us empty. That is when we will begin to experience the void within us
When I am feeling angry, should I control/ suppress it?
Duration: 02 mins 28 secs
During the day when you are busy, you are not able to pay attention to your emotions. So during the night when your thoughts are less, emotions start to surface in the body in the form of bodyaches/any other form of discomfort. With OTB, the emotions that are surfacing will get released and pain in the body will get better and eventually sleep will improve over time, with practice.

Duration: 02 mins 51 secs
When the negative emotion gets grounded in the process of Yog nidra, you will experience bliss, which will expand as we stay connected with the breath. The reason we cannot sustain this state of bliss/emptiness for long is because layer after layer of emotions is getting cleared up as we OTB. Symptoms like diarrohea and vomitting are signs of the toxins being released and the body getting cleansed.
*Citing an example - A pot which is holding something for a long time, once it is emptied, it will experience void there.
After reaching YN was at peace and in bliss. However, post breakfast there was queasy feeling in my stomach. Why?

While none of these techniques are allopathic in nature, you will be able to witness most of the symptoms which are disappearing from your body. However, some will just disappear with the help of Yog Nidra itself, without you really noticing that.

So if sleep is taking over, that is what your body needs. Sleep is one of the three pillars of health and well being, the other two being breath and sexuality. There are no rules and guidelines about the experience that you should be having when going into Yog Nidra.

Observing the breath implies bringing your attention to your breath. There is a difference between the concept of focus and the concept of attention. Focus makes the mind active, and will not allow you to bring your attention to your breath. Simply OTB as the breath is going in and coming out, even while you are at work. It will declutter your mind and bring your attention to the here and now. The moment you realise that your attention has shifted to thoughts, gently bring it back to observing the breath and it will happen with practice, reading the book and listening to the LMS.

EMOTIONAL BODY
Duration: 03 mins 41 secs
Staying with the emotion means to feel the emotion and observe the breath. As you experience the emotion and breathe on it,it will either leave you or its intensity will lessen. * If we take the example of anger, there are two ways in which we deal with anger. Either we indulge in it, in the form an outburst. The other way could be suppressing it and move to self pity. Staying with anger means not to give in to either of the two tendencies but to experience that emotion and observe the breath. By observing and breathing on the emotion, the intensity of that emotion reduces and eventually gets grounded.

How will I get wisdom out of an abuse?

The ability to hunt on an emotion comes with deepening our practice of NV Hunting. To begin with, we initiate the process by Hunting on the events, which generated the particular emotions. Defrosting the event in the minutest of details is the first step of this process. Identify the number of events where similar emotions were felt by you and OTB by staying with the defrosted details. The next step is to launch yourself in the space of the defrosted event, and go for NV Hunting, by staying in the space of the event, and not the emotion.
What do you mean by Staying with the Emotion?
Length of video: 04 mins 10 secs
You just have to observe your breath by launching yourself in the space of the moment of death, or when you heard the news of death - this will open up your emotional body towards death. Instead of reversing the entire relationship, first go to the moment when you were emotionally numb on hearing the news of death. NV Hunting on this moment, will enable you to feel the emotions that you could not or denied yourself from feeling in that moment. Day Hunting also is to be done with the intent of breathing on the emotions, felt in the events that happened during the day.

Defrosting, when done mechanically or briefly, doesnot open up the emotional body towards that event. Once the defrosting is done well, stay with it while OTB, and in NV Hunting, launch yourself in the space of that event which had maximum impact for you. For example, in the event of a Vidaai, the moment when you felt that now your sister is gone. Stay in that space and allow the emotions to surface as you stay connected with the breath.
The event I picked for Hunting, felt very scattered during the process. I defrosted in a very brief way. Also, I feel the consequence of the event is my issue and not the event itself. What should I do?

Emotions always surface when we OTB, but if we are not connected with our breath, as we go into Hunting, our mind gets active, hence we land up with headaches, irritability, etc. This is due to the fear of instability which one experiences on the opening up of the suppressed emotions. The role of the ego is to survive and maintain the stability, therefore we face resistance with respect to creating time and space for ourselves.
When initiating the process of Hunting, its advisable to attempt the smaller events before we go to the bigger ones, and its imperative that we stay connected with our breath, through the process.
Why am I am not able to feel emotions in Hunting? Why do we feel resistance towards Hunting? How do we then create space for NV Hunting?

The first step is to OTB and fill the worksheet that is on Pg 294 of the Book. You will then be able to identify the events that you need to breathe on. We are all addicted to bliss and we want to remember only the happy events, while suppressing all the sadness/anger/guilt/shame/anxiety all along the way. The process of reaching the root cause, will happen as we start identifying events which generate those negative emotions, and go on reversing our life in this process.
How do I identify events that I have negative emotions that I should breathe on?

Watch lecture on 'Emotional body' and stay connected with the breath while doing so. When the feeling of being unaccepted comes up within us, it might generate anger at first, or even sadness. However, when our very existence is in question, the emotion of shame comes up very strongly, but the ego steps in, consuming our Life Force Energy, to prevent us from feeling that emotion in its entirety.
Breathing on the events of feeling unaccepted or rejected, might bring up anger initially, leading to one of our tendencies, which would trigger shame within. However, we donot wish to even acknowledge it because it shakes the basis of our very existenceWhen initiating the process of Hunting, its advisable to attempt the smaller events before we go to the bigger ones, and its imperative that we stay connected with our breath, through the process.

Defrosting is a prelude to NV HUNTING - it’s a beautiful way to open up events of the past and bring into awareness the suppressed emotions of those events. However, for those of us, to who writing is a means of expression, we need to be cautious of indulgence in the form of writing. Its best to pick up those 2-3 glaring incidents intuitively, out of the defrosted events, and to launch yourself in the space of that event, by OTB. In the process of Hunting, there may be instances of falling off to sleep which signifies two things: either its out of exhaustion, or out of resistance, which makes the mind active.

NV Hunting brings up the suppressed emotions, thus opening up the emotional body. This stage needs to be completed by grounding those emotions through OTB. In case we leave the surfaced emotions unattended, we might experience physical pain in the body, and the mind becomes active. In that case, we simply need to OTB the pain, as that facilitates grounding of the emotion that is stuck in that specific body part.
Often there is self judgement or pity that come in the way of experiencing the suppressed emotions fully, so we need to revisit that event and stay with the disturbing emotions till they gradually fade away with OTB.
I defrosted thoroughly and did NV Hunting, but after that I was not able to sleep. I had pain in my body and had a headache as well. However, I am not tired. What is happening?
Length of video: 01 mins 41 secs
Fear of facing the emotions attached to the disturbing event/events that have surfaced while defrosting is one reasons for resistance to the NV Hunting process. The same can be taken care of by staying in the space when that emotion surfaced and doing OTB, allowing the emotion to surface fully by staying connected with the breath. This will prevent the mind from getting active. Feeling sleepy is a sign of the body restoring itself, as this is one of the three main pillars of our health and well-being, the other two being Breath and Sexuality. We must give ourselves adequate time and space, as the healing process ensues.
I feel very drowsy after NV Hunting. Why is that?

The first step is to read the Chapter on NV Hunting from the book Meditation - The Cure and watch the LMS on Hunting. It is important to proceed step wise into the process, i.e. defrosting the event, then breathing on it. Once the breathing is effortless, launch yourself in that space of the event and feel the emotions surfacing. Do not be in a hurry to come out of this space, allow as much time as required for the emotions to fade away - when eventually only the breath is left. This completes the process by naturally arriving at the first step of NV Swimming.
Event caused disappointment. I felt loneliness and isolation. This event bothers me even now. However, I couldn't properly Hunt on it. Please guide.

Defrosting an event prior to Hunting, opens up the emotional body. When we do not attend to the emotions that surface in the event, then the suppressed emotion is bound to manifest as pain in the body. It is imperative that we read the Chapter NV Hunting of the book Meditation - The Cure and watch the LMS on Hunting to understand this further. The next step is to regularize our practice of NV Hunting and Day Hunting before going to sleep.
Sleep takes over in scenarios when the surfaced emotions are not attended to because of the fear that comes up. In such cases, the unattended emotions go to the subconscious and come out in the process of sleep in the form of dreams, hence disrupting its quality.
I am not able to access emotions with breath while NV Hunting, even though they are in my awareness. What should I do?

An active mind is directly related to resistance to addressing and staying with the emotional body, which has opened up after defrosting an event. The age group of 14 to 21 is significant as in this phase, the sexual energy empowers the patterns of our life. Indulgence in rationalizing and reasoning the sensations that are being experienced in the body makes the mind active all over again. One needs to simply OTB the sensations being felt, as it will eventually reveal the underlying emotion, as we stay connected with the breath.
Hunting becomes a fluid process once the emotional body opens up and we OTB the emotions which are surfacing

Defrosting an event leads to the opening up of the emotional body w.r.t. that event. When we donot follow this up with NV Hunting, all those unaddressed emotions come up at night, when we attempt to get into Day Hunting. Hence the feeling of overwhelm comes in, as the mind gets active in trying to manage those emotions, in the form of thoughts. What one needs to do, in this case, is to simply watch those thoughts, the way we OTB. The role of the mind is to not allow us to stay with the problem, and the intent of this technique is to drop the mind by staying connected with our breath.
I had defrosted during the day but did not do NV Hunting. And then while Day Hunting, I got overwhelmed by a plethora of events opening up at the same time. Please guide me on what I am doing wrong.

NV Hunting, as a process, does not take up the entire day, but is a space that we get into as we defrost the event. It enables us to identify where the Life Force Energy is stuck, because of which physical symptoms show up in the body, in the form of discomfort or body aches. This occurs due to the suppressed emotions and Hunting facilitates the process of discovering the beliefs we landed up making, because of which the emotions got suppressed in the first place. Hence, we must be consistent with the practices of usage of cotton and NV Swimming and NV Hunting. Its important for us to create space for ourselves and to get into the flow of NV Hunting while we are in the energy field of the program, instead of leaving it for the weekends.
Is it okay to keep NV Hunting for the weekend?

While most of us have been exposed to various modalities of working on self, when walking the course of a particular program, it is imperative to sincerely follow all the directions and instructions laid out in the program. Confusing or allowing our previous learnings to interfere with the structure of the program which has been laid out for you, will be hazardous for you, as it will not allow you to flow the way you are supposed to. Defrosting the major events of 14 to 21 age bracket, followed by launching yourself in that space and staying in that space with OTB is of key importance here. As you will stay in that space, by being connected with the breath, the suppressed emotions will begin to surface. Sleep takes over, in the process of Hunting, when the mind gets active. The dreams that you see in your sleep are the residual emotions, which couldnot be addressed in your Hunting, and are getting grounded in your sleep..
I am not able to tap into events & emotions for Hunting. They are not coming up with breath. It's just that I am aware of those due to therapy I went through in the past. Please let me know where I am going wrong.

You will continue to affected by an episode of your past, untill you haven't gained wisdom and learning from that event. If not, you will continue to witness similar events in your life recurrently in the form of suffering, one way or another. The bitterness that you have attracted in your life, is because of your own Lack, Tendeny and Pattern. Its important to take responsibility, and work on your Algortihm, identifying where you had a shortfall in being honest and complete in the relationship. A relationship has to be nurtured such that it should always be considered bigger than the two individuals involved in it. It should not be turned into a space that one keeps sucking energy out of. The moment you stop reacting in your relationship with your spouse, the distance created between the two of you will disappear, and you will see a drastic shift in his approach towards you. Any violent act between a couple, is a manifestation of the sexual energy which has got busted as a Dark. This is the reason why working on Dark is such an essential part of our Courseware at NV Life.

The process of observing breath could be uncomfortable at the initial stage. Be gentle with yourself and try cotton in the right nostril for short intervals, take it out when you feel uneasy and try again after 5-6 minutes. Practice the technique every time you are with yourself during the day. At night, insert cotton in your right nostril for as long as you can be with it, and slowly as thoughts begin to diminish, you would be able to keep it for a longer span.

During the day when you are busy, you are not able to pay attention to your emotions.

How important is judgement to the enitre emotional body? Should we give importance to it or just try to be ourselves?
Duration:: 02 mins 13 secs
When you breathe, think about the situation and acknowledge the emotion generated. Just stay with the emotion and breathe on it. *Example - if there is anger, just be with the anger, observe your breath. Anger is only a reactive state, there are emotions underlying it. As you continue to OTB, this anger will soon leave and the emotion beneath the anger will surface. OTB the emotion that surfaces and stay with it.
Should we breathe on situations wherein we felt the emotion or should we breathe the emotion? Also, as I was writing, I realised I felt the same emotion in every situation. Am I making a mistake?

As you begin your journey of turning inwards, it is perfectly fine to want to be in your own space. If there is a feeling of self-judgment that is coming up, just be with it and go into NV Hunting with the intent of arriving at the space 14-21 years. Identify the events in that time and space, when you felt judged or you judged yourself, and OTB the emotions that surface in those events.

Dalai Lama had once said - 'You must meditate for 2 hours everyday, and if you are busy, then you must meditate for 4 hours.' Anger is basically a reaction to an event. It has a lot of emotions like fear, guilt and shame hidden underneath. After having identified the underlying emotions, OTB those emotions as much as you can. If you feel like crying, go ahead and break the belief of -'Mard ko dard nahi hota hai.' Breathing the emotions that are surfacing, will eventually ground them.
When I have an outburst, the emotions I feel are anger, fear, guilt & shame. I now pause and breathe on those, but sometimes I still can't stop the outburst. What do I do?
Duration:: 03 mins 15 secs
Every moment we live is an event, and every event that causes disappointment generates an emotion. OTB that emotion and witness it, instead of reacting. As you work on transforming yourself, the frequency at which you are vibrating changes. This has a direct impact on the people around you and the situations you attract. You will notice how the same person then behaves differently with you.
How do we avoid negativity when there are disappointments in life?

The ability to hunt on an emotion comes with deepening our practice of NV Hunting. To begin with, we initiate the process by Hunting on the events, which generated the particular emotions. Defrosting the event in the minutest of details is the first step of this process. Identify the number of events where similar emotions were felt by you and OTB by staying with the defrosted details. The next step is to launch yourself in the space of the defrosted event, and go for NV Hunting, by staying in the space of the event, and not the emotion.
What do you mean by Staying with the Emotion?

You just have to observe your breath by launching yourself in the space of the moment of death, or when you heard the news of death - this will open up your emotional body towards death. Instead of reversing the entire relationship, first go to the moment when you were emotionally numb on hearing the news of death. NV Hunting on this moment, will enable you to feel the emotions that you could not or denied yourself from feeling in that moment. Day Hunting also is to be done with the intent of breathing on the emotions, felt in the events that happened during the day.
In my mind, my father's death is an old memory and I have come out of it? Why is NV Hunting on Death of a loved one important?

Defrosting is not to be done during NV Swimming. NV Swimming is a 3 step process and is to be done the way it is mentioned in the book.
Defrosting enables us to recall the event we intend to hunt on, by writing down the minutest of details of that event. This opens up our emotional body to that event, after which we go for OTB and Hunting, following the process as mentioned in the book - Meditation The Cure. .It is not a rule, that one has to arrive at Yog Nidra after NV Hunting, the process might end with simple OTB on some occasions.

I have been defrosting and I feel like defrosting even more. However, I am having difficulty in NV Hunting. What am I doing wrong?

After defrosting, I felt pain in my collar bone. I observed my breath and pain went away and emotion surfaced. I am aware of the event it comes from, but I am scared to delve into it. Please guide.
